A CALL TO SAVE TARA MALLA
I am shocked to hear about such a notorious story about our Nepali sister Tara Malla, who was working in the house of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. It is a grave concern for all the Nepalse around globe because such misbehavior and harassing action is not only condemnable, but also against all the established norms of human rights.
Tara Malla, a Syangja resident was hired to look after Israeli PM's ailing father-in-law, Shmuel Ben Artzi, 96. There was a provision that if the ailing man died while she was still on her job, Tara would be getting extra money. The family wanted to kick her out and started compelling her to do so by resorting to violence as reported by Tara. Tara is now stranded in the foreign land because Netanyahus have fired Malla, accusing that she was negligent in her care of the old man and that she outwitted the family while extorting money from Artzi.
It is hard to believe that such a prestigious family could do such a heinous mistreatment their employee who paid much less than what they promised (US $800) made her overwork although her duty was meant for just 8 hours a day. I call upon all the Nepalese brothers and sisters, international community in favor of democracy and human rights to condemn such action by the Netanyahus. I strongly recommend take immediate action and help Tara to send her back to Nepal with honor.
